Cowboy Hat embossed "Bride"
The cowboy hat ‘says’ it all.

Faithful friends-
How do I put all of my thoughts on paper when in less than a week everything changes? Interestingly enough though, I feel like these are changes that God has been preparing me for much of my life!

I have much experience with caring for people, but none at caring for one person for the rest of our lives together. I have experience living in another country, Germany, but none in a Spanish-speaking, developing country. I have experience as a missionary, but none as wide open as we are stepping into.

At the same time there are many questions and fears in me, there is also much excitement to be committed to Stephen, to trust God for the provision of money, to get started in learning a new language, and direction for the next step.

This is just a beginning! Recently I read in the book Sacred Marriage that a relationship is a conversation. It keeps going with ups and downs, agreements and disagreements, understanding and misunderstanding. I invite you into this “conversation” with our experience as life unfolds for us!

There is joy in the journey,
Natalie Schumacher… almost Goff

  1. So excited for you Natalie and Stephen!!! An adventure with and for God…it doesn’t get any better! Please know of our love and support. See you soon!!! : )

  2. So sorry to miss the wedding! Buehrers will be there for us. Helping JB Jolene and the new baby move to Phoenix got in the way:(
Do let us know details of your mission trip, including support information please.
We send our love and prayers for you and Steve as you begin many an adventure!

  3. I’m not sure hot to reply or how to enter into this conversation. It seems a time of transition for you,, of focus on that choice of a new committment for a lifetime and delving into all that means. I’m not sure where that conversation goes for the rest of us. So, will let you guide us in that as you make Stephen your Number 1 person and focus, as you seek God together. Enjoy that journey!

  4. Natalie – as your big day approaches, I want you to know that you have been on my heart and in my prayers. I keep your wedding announcement out and it makes my heart happy! Wish I were there to celebrate! I think I will see you in August? Hope so!

  5. So, so, so excited to follow your adventure, dear friends! And . . . Miss Sassy Pants there in the cowgirl hat – to you I say, “YEE-HAW . . . COWGIRL UP!!!” Love to you both!

  6. Can’t wait to see all that God has in store for you! Sure wish we could come to the wedding to help “send you off” on your big adventure! Blessings! Debby
